i was a total bitch on this hike. not in the correct mindset at alll & was totally miserable the whole time. barely made it up grays and i'm not sure how i got up torreys ... completely underestimated how out of shape i was & how much incline really takes a toll on you at an elevation higher than that of a florida beach. to think that these are some of the easiest 14ers
for some context 2 months before this i had never even heard of the term 14er and i was only talked into this hike because it would make my friends happy. despite hiker's high after making it back to the trailhead i was certainly not set on hiking another 14er.
