my first two 14ers  
i was a total bitch on this hike. not in the correct mindset at alll & was totally miserable the whole time. barely made it up grays and i'm not sure how i got up torreys ... completely underestimated how out of shape i was & how much incline really takes a toll on you at an elevation higher than that of a florida beach. to think that these are some of the easiest 14ers
for some context 2 months before this i had never even heard of the term 14er and i was only talked into this hike because it would make my friends happy. despite hiker's high after making it back to the trailhead i was certainly not set on hiking another 14er.

the hardest thing i've ever done...
but also the most rewarding! the first 24 hours after completing this hike i'd tell you i never wanted to do it again. however, i soon realized that while this hike took everythingggg out of me mentally (tears were shed, ryli i will always love you for getting me back to the trailhead) i have never felt more accomplished, at peace, happy, satisfied, like i had purpose in life!! i realize how #cornball i sound but this sold me on the whole 14er thing

i forgot to start my strava so this info is based on the trail i did from the goat 14ers.com ... i don't really wanna say how long this hike took me but let's just say it was a double digit number

lindley takes on a winter (sort of) 14er
this was the most fun i've had climbing a 14er. i was certainly nottt dressed for the weather it was SO windy. but hiking in the snow is sooo much fun, my first time using ice spikes. we wanted to do the entire decalibron loop and while i could have made it up cameron, i would have been very cold. the pics from this hike make me look way cooler than i am lol
trailhead was closed which added an extra 3 miles total to our trip. ate a protein bar at the top and listened to god save the three on the way down i can't ask for more from life (✿◠‿◠)
