GUYS...if you know anything about me you know i do not play about this band. it all started when i saw them live in september of 2024. my insane concert depression put me into a coding frenzy leading to one of my most impressive carrds of all time click here! this is the first release i've been around as a fan for and as much as i couldn't get behind their rebrand at first (quarters of change you will always be missed), the music makes up for it. even though i want to remain niche, they deserve a listen! okay now for my actual album review...please scroll :3

i remember when they first released star/plummet i was having my end of semester tweak out. plummet remains the best song off the album and i won't be convinved otherwise. jasper gee harris i love your brain. it is actually probably #3 in my top quarters songs (#1 goes to asphalt obviously...heaven bound is currently at #2) ANYWAYS headlight/perfect word weren't as strong of a pre-release (IMO) but the lyrics to perfect word are beautiful and i love listening to headlight on the subway at night. radio silence is definitely my 2nd favorite of the pre-releases and what i assumed would be in my top #3 from the album but i was quickly proven wrong. when the actual album came out i was on my way to GINZA (i am studying abroad this semester in japan, for context lol) to see my mother who had just flown in so it was a bit of a rushed first listen. HOWEVER gimmesomemore stood out to me the most probably cause i listen to such loud music. the lyrics for do you believe in me really resonate with me. i have been a try again benjamin defender since the beginning ben roter i will never forget you saying you liked my outfit after the show i went to. your voice is amazing and i hope you know how much you deserve your flowers. MOVING ON my #2 after plummet (as of now...almost 3 weeks since the album came out) is comet. ben's voice stands out the most on this track and i associate it so heavy with my time in colorado last summer (estes park you have not seen the last of me), i'm not sure what #3 would be but supersonic has grown on me a lot, i love the lyrics and the guitar. my previous #3 was what is fate? such a beautiful song i can't even put it into words how many times i have listened to the last minute of the song. if i had to pick my least favorite song (i'm sorry), it would be EZ. i have nothing bad to say about it i just think the rest of the tracks are a lot better. it's kinda hard to know what's going on half the time when my only source of social media is twitter but it sounds like angel is the title and the song off this album they're pushing the most. while not one of my favorites, not cause i dislike it but simply cause there are soo many other hits off this album, the music video is soo visually appealing i am obssessed. side note atila you are so pretty and i love your art. and watching you drum. i love your hands. OKAY! i haven't been a fan for much time considering how long quarters has been around (i was 12 when the band formed hello), but it is so fun to see how much their music has grown and how they're putting out art that (i think) really represents the three of them as people. i hope this isn't the end of the world is an amazing name for an album (and a great song!!), i loveee the concept and the artistic direction the band seems to be taking, i can't wait to see them live again when i am back in the states. i promise i won't write this much for every review and thank you for baring with me whoever has read this far. any tongue that rises up against quarters shall fall, thank you and goodnight (it's the middle of the day and i have class in 45 minutes)

OKAYYY i discovered underscores through being a jane remover fan so i am fairly new to her music but MUSIC is actually the best song ever. probably one of my top releases from last year i will neverrrr shut up about this song. #1 off the album, lyrics are amazing, cover art is wonderful, last 30 seconds are arguably worth a grammy wow wow wow
ANYWAYS as for the rest of the album...starting with the pre-releases, do it is suchh a fun song i love watching april dance she is so cute and the yves remix is delicious i still cannot believe they collabed
tell me (u want it) is the only song i don't really like I'M SORRYYY i'm not gonna skip it if it comes on but i will not be putting it on. okay back to giving april her well-deserved flowers: i think my favorites of the new tracks are the peace. "i don't speak unless i'm spoken to, i don't smoke unless you're smoking too" LIKE I LOVE YOUUU. she gets it. the beat scratches my brain. AND ALSO LOVEFIELD highly underrated track the buildup is phenomenal and the lyrics are hilarious (/pos). "it'll be winter soon and i'll be twilight pale". also #florida mention ^_^ i agree with headphoneemoji that hollywood forever should have been a single the lyrics are #AWESOME and the drop is so catchy it's always in my head. sent innuendo (i get u) to a boy but i don't think he gets it like i do (haha get it) beat is also really catchy and the lyrics are so fun april you genius. i adoreee the lyrics to bodyfeeling but the song itself is a bit forgettable, simply compared to the rest of the tracks (#IMO) i will not die on this hill though i might just need to listen to it more. wish u well is slowly climbing my ranking it is a beautiful listen and the lyrics really resonate with me i fear. "she looks just like me, in a way it's beautiful, i'm wherever you go" and "if i'm being honest with myself i don't want closure, i want to feel the gravity of losing you" LIKE YOU'RE JOKINGGGGG anyways april has looked soo good this promotion cycle i still can't believe the headphone hair is fake. people calling this album tame on twitter need to get over themselves, she is clearly having fun and finally getting more mainstream attention!! underscores i will be tuning in for whatever is up next. i ended up writing sm more than i intended oops

lin out

first things first i want to say i am not as into slayyyter as ik some people are but i'd listen to her and ayesha erotica when i used to make the 20 minute drive to my high school everyday and convince myself i was hot shit even though i was a virgin and couldn't handle my alcohol. she was everything i wanted to be. she does whatever she wants and i admire that. also she IS hot shit. ANYWAYS

unfortunately i like the pre-releases more than the songs released with the album. i lowkey always feel this way though i might just need to let the album simmer a bit more. i remember when beat up chanel$ came out i was in colorado and i wasn't a fan. but now I LOVEEE ITTT like yes i want a cigarette too! i was a fan of cannibalism! from the beginning, i feel these lyrics in my #heart. crank is probably my favorite off the album, i think the general public agrees with me on that. the lyrics are SOO FUN and i can't wait to be in my new apartment this fall getting ready to go out with this on it is such a good song to dance to. speaking of DANCE... this song i also did not like at first SORRY but it's a repeat on my airbuds now the title is true to the song. old technology might surpass crank it gets better each time i listen to it. huge fan of what slayyyter does with her voice and again, fun lyrics, danceable song, what's not to like!! ready speed run review go: out of the new tracks gas station stood out to me the most. i like the lyrics and for her it's a slower song but i'm a fan!! yes goddd is very loud which usually i like i think i just need to give this one another chance. i am a heavy enjoyer of the lyrics to unknown loverz and the beat is nice. i forgot what old fling$ sounds like probably my least favorite off the album, also feel this way about $t.loser. bare with me here. I LOVEEEE i'm actually kinda famous and what is it like, to be liked? slayyyter you are for the girls. i don't keep up with her outside of listening to new music when i get the spotify notification but i think brittany murphy. is the title she's promoing with? i could be wrong. it's fun but i think most of the other tracks are stronger. idk how slayyyter's fanbase is like please don't come for me. she is a popstar diva and hopefully this release will get her out of the khia asylum
okay update i feel i was too harsh so i relistened this morning, yes goddd and brittany murphy. definitely growing on me. also i retract what i said about $t.loser but not old fling$ #mytruth

BROOOOO i got into tiffany day cause glaive interacted with her on twitter and let me tell you i have never been happier to discover a new artist. the pre release rollout for this album was top tier imo. pretty4u, tell me what i did, and breakup are all middle tier songs off halo for me. i was in loveee the first time i heard them but i have been listening to the newer tracks a lot more!! american girl has grown on me immensely since the album release for some reason i think this is one of halo's strongest songs. same la's lyrics are beautiful and the lyric videos of tiffany on the beach are so cute this girl is adorable. i personally am a huggeee fan of how she promotes her songs with the videos of her dancing and the lyrics on the screen in that fancy font. i just think it is so fun why can't women have fun anymore!! she is getting sm backlash on twitter over anything. a corny spotify bio that was clearly satire WHO CARES you all genuinely just hate to see a girl in her 20s be successful and have a good time. and i personally could not care less about her stealing someone else'a aesthetic nothing is original nowadays. ANYWAYS start over remains my favorite song off the album i actually will neverrrr get tired of the lyrics and the beat it is my #summit song.

as for the rest of the album the transition from everything i've ever wanted to doit4me is unmatched. no better way to start the album imo. i relate to the lyrics of everything i've ever wanted so much and the visuals released with this song as promo are stunning tiffany is so beautiful and so is this song. copycat is the weakest off this album tbh it is kind of forgettable compared to the rest. i knew no luck was gonna be one of my favorites when she posted a sample on twitter i loveee the promo vids for this song they are so cute and while the lyrics are a little corny the beat makes up for it. look up has grown on me a lot, probably in my top 3 of the new tracks i think the lyrics are superb and the beat is exteremly addicting. lots of people love farewell toledo but it's not one of my favorites. i'm sorry. i don't skip it when it comes on though i just prefer more upbeat tracks. despite that, it's not like that anymore is also in my top 3 i could write paragraphs about how much i resonate with this song the lyrics are beautiful tiffany's voice is so catchy i'm sorry this is just glaze atp i loveee when girls make music like this. keep it up!!!
i wish i was on the tiffany train a lot sooner but i'm glad to be here as she finally seems to be getting her (well-deserved) flowers. i love music and i love pretty women

some disclaimers i LOVED midnight sun and the opinions that follow are based off one singular listen. i think remix albums are hard because i'm so used to hearing the originals that i cherish so much anything new just sounds off. to start off with my criticisms which i have many...midnight sun with pinkpantheress is never going to be stateside with zara larsson i'm sorry this is arguably my least favorite remix. however i will say the expectations i have considering how much i love pinkpantheress and how good midnight sun is would be hard to meet. i like kehlani and i think she was a good choice for blue moon, however i think the og is better. this is going to be a common theme of this review and again, i have only listened to the remixes once vs. the 3095739 times i have listened to the original album. considering tyla and shakira are the two biggest features (besides pinkpantheress ofc) these remixes are (IMO) some of the most disappointing and forgettable. tbf i didn't like eurosummer that much to begin with. however i was a hot & sexy fan and i realllyyyy liked the song tyla and zara did before the remix album came out, i wish i liked this remix more i will try to give it another chance :) the ambition is my least favorite off midnight sun and the remix is boring. i'm sorry. i'm usually a madison beer defender but i did not like this one at all.

okay now for some positive remarks i am a pretty ugly fan despite what most of twitter has to say about this song. i liked the remix!! i thought it was very fitting for this song, very fun and danceable i have no complaints about this. I LOVEEEE girl's girl. this is probably the best remix. at least top 2. i am such a big fan of how the lyrics were changed. better than the original fs *claps* i think crush og version is a great song (one of my favorites off midnight sun) but i found i really enjoyed the remix as well!! i had never heard of eli before but i love her part on the song and could see myself listening to some of her solo music in the future once i have time lol. i was not expecting saturn's return to be like a 6 minute remix but i also am a hugeee fan of this one. this is my favorite song off the og midnight sun so i was a little scared for what the remix plans for this were but i'm a fan!! not as good as the og but that's a high bar to reach anyways...i almost put puss puss in the dislike section but i liked robyn on that one charli xcx song and i think her verse here is quite fun. i didn't like the original puss puss that much but i honestly think the remix makes it better. overall i was expecting a lot more from this remix album but i love zara larsson and her decision to make it an all girls feature, i think she has big things coming up in her career now that she's got her flowers. i will still be tuning in

first things first i have only listened to this album fully once i am about to listen to it again when i drive to the gym. so take everything i say lightly although i don't think i have anything bad to say lol. a glaive and kurtains album has been up in the air since forever. i have been a fan of every song these two have collabed on some of my favorites being uk bitches and crowbars. i like both their solo music and think their friendship is quite beautiful. i am a big fan of these two anything bad said about their music is like gore of my comfort character. when the troubles came out i had just gotten back from japan, this song is exactly what i needed. it is probably because i have listened to it more than the rest of the album but it's definitely one of my favorites off this project. i loveeee kurtains verse especially and the music video is insanely gorgeous who knew europe could be so pretty (this is a joke)

based off first listen weston super mare is in my top 3. adding it to my running playlist and i would put this on if i had aux with no regrets. half two is getting a lot of love on twitter i think i need to listen to this one a few more times and read the lyrics cause i didn't really know what was going on. but it sounded nice!! I LOVEEEEE THE BAND i have listened to this a few times especially after the music video came out which don't even get me started on how much i love the music video. i'm being so serious one of my favorite music videos from this year. like. i love it. and i love this song it almost makes me wish i didn't quit cigarettes. or should i say f
yaya touré and flyen didn't stick out to me as much, again i need to listen to the whole thing again and reupdate (?) my thoughts. as much as i don't prefer "slower" songs i am a big fan of spinning around i would also put this on in the car #guiltfree. i am officially an old freight train interlude defender ik this isn't actually a song i just think it is so beautiful wow i can't believe cowboys are real. the front is in my top 3 kurtains sounds amazinggg on this i love love love love the lyrics it is such a fun feel-good song wow song of the summer is already here you guys. fr. i didn't like let's link up and die as much this song is very old glaiveish. again i need to listen to it again i just feel stronger about the other songs no shade. unca/composure might be #4 off the album for me especially the /composure part this is going to be on repeat wow i love my life i'm so happy to be alive at this time. that's how this song makes me feel. sorry nothing i have to say is very profound i just am so happy to be a fan of these two and everything they got going on in the music scene rn. i love my new glaive shirt and i hope to see him on tour again this year (?). and wow i'm 21 now oh to drink a beer with kurtains...what a guy...the revolver music video is beautiful btw. big fan. i've actually been typing for like 30 mins oh my goodness gracious who is reading all this. crisis is a great song to end the album and while god save the three is no florence fields or y'all it is certainly up there in my ranking of projects #glurtains have put out. i'm so excited to listen to this in colorado next week GOD BLESS also i love this album cover a lot. goodbye

ALBUM OF THE SUMMERRR i enjoyed this album quite a lot, i'm not really a huge kim petras fan, i like a few songs off slut pop & songs she's been a feature on. everyoneee was tweeting about this album and once tiffany day did, i had to give it a listen!!

i didn't listen to any of the pre released tracks but at the time of writing this i've listened to the whole album like...maybe 4 times and a few tracks even more cause i put them on my #running playlist. my top 3 (in no particular order) are DTLA, Polo, and Need For Speed. i loveeee that 101 was produced by frost children, radio is one of my favorties off sister. i would recommend brutalist to a friend and gladly put basketball on in the car. i loveee the album cover so much this is such a cute feel good girly album i will have this on #repeat thank you kim petras you are beautiful. sorry i usually have more to say but this release was not on my radar at allll i'm just very lucky and grateful it happened to show up on my feed more than once

i went into this album expecting not to like it. i'm not sure why i thought that. but i decided to give it a listen cause i keep seeing this girl's dj sets allll over my twitter feed. #spoileralert i'm actually kind of obssesed with her now. i loveeee how environment centered she is and everything that this album stands for. she's so me. i want to buy her merch so bad😭😭😭😭 i have no opinion on the whole horse mask thing like would i do all that ? no! but if it makes her happy idrc
based off first listen i think my favorite track is an apple a day. close second goes to that's my beach! i have to let the florida girl in me out every now and then. fun guy fungi is suchhhh a cute play on words this is probs my favorite song title. visually this album is so pleasing i would love just to experience seeing it performed live once. then i can die happy. earth is turning is def currently #3 of the tracks for me and i would recommend this to my hiking friends who don't even listen to edm. just cause. #motherearth💪❤️
the karma is, organic intelligence (oi), music goes on, run is a 3 for 3 for me i loveee these songs so bad what a way to end an album. this really sold it for me. i was like woah. come for the horse mask stay for the music am i right!! horsegiirL just got herself a new fan lol

not to absolutely dick ride but i think everything tommy fleece does is so cool i wish men in real life acted like he did wow wow wow wow. this album felt very audio stars, i liked it a lot more than i did VS the machine. i'm lowkey larping as a tommy fleece fan i've only been a fan for like 6 months and my ex situationship that literally lasted less than 3 weeks put me on ... anyways ... i already talked about bounce on here. as for the other 2 pre released singles i enjoyed both of them very much!! i think out of the 3 my ranking is 1.) mind killer 2.) hanging on a minute 3.) bounce so in the opposite order they were released. perhaps recency bias is at play here lol

i love the visuals associated with this album i love the colors i see in my head when i play this. i love the lyrics i love listening to this while i drive and getting distracted. ummmm i think my favorites of the new songs is tune in. runners up go to who's to say and kiss me. ms california is fun too i really just enjoy this album a lot but if i had to pick my least favorite cause everyone's a critic these days it would be i can do this all night. i'm sorry. i can't believe this dude isn't more famous but maybe that just means i'll get to see him on tour for really cheap. yay me

okay we already talked about how much i love satellites and that might actually be my favorite song off this ep but who knows if it's just because that's the one song i've heard more. this might be recency bias but i like this ep as a whole almost as much as i like sister and that's saying something because that album is very near and dear to me. i think frost children are onto hugeee things. they deserve more flowers than they are getting and i will be here for when they finally get those flowers...

as for the songs themselves i think my current favorite (of the 5 new tracks) is gutted. afterlife is a close second. i loveeee the noise on gutted it itches my brain just right & i am a huge fan of the falling sample + the lyrics of afterlife. debating adding faster to my running playlist it is definitely growing on me. i did not like creep off first listen but i'd say i've switched up!! probably #4 of the new tracks, i like how long the song is it keeps my ears entertained. the one critique i have and this is probably just me being annoying is i don't like the lyrics of light leak that much, i think the beat is amazinggg i just feel like the lyrics while they are very (?) sentimental (for lack of a better word i'm sorry i'm not very creative) have been done before. i don't want to end on a negative note so let me just say frost children i am very impressed by you ... there are big things coming in your future smiles

okay yes i'm rating the eps in the album section i have free will. ANYWAYS i've really been getting into slayr these past few weeks it's kinda crazy how i went from only listening to a few singles casually to listening to old albums and keeping up with his tweets (this man is on twitter soo much...he's just like me fr)
I LOVE THIS EP!!! as a whole this project is so so wonderful i've listened to it multiple times and i still feel like i haven't digested it fully. i loveee slayr's sound and how meaningful his lyrics are. each song feels like you're listening to 10 different songs and NOT in a oh my god he was just doing anything in the studio type of way. the ep is only 16 minutes long which is short for 6 songs but it really does feel like that meme "why is this video 3 hours long". i'm biased if i say my favorite song is promise cause i am suchhh a huge underscores fan and slayr gets major points in my book for being one too. the peace was one of (if not my favorite) my favorite songs off of U and i think he couldn't have used the sample in a better way. his mind. he is so creative. wow. i'm typing this taking a minute to reflect and soak it all in i love music so much this ep brings me immense joy. i think a close 2nd is definitely having anxiety is annoying. i appreciate how vulnerable slayr gets with his lyrics and i know on twitter he's talked about how that wasn't easy (his "when you get vulnerable so you add edm so ppl dont pay attention" tweet went platinum on my twitter account) but it makes his music feel so personal and so much more enjoyable knowing how much i can relate to it. on a lighter note switch my swag is SO FUN i put this on my running playlist i am going to be unstoppable with all the new music coming out this summer. raise my voice grew on me a lot with each listen of the ep i did, i like it a lot more than i thought i would?? i think it's a great song and a great way to finish off the ep...i feel the same with i got taste. the only song i don't not NOT like but also don't feel as connected with is nova i've been listening to this while i drive and anytime this track comes on i find myself having to lock in on the #road so i just don't think i have given it the attention it deserves. we will see. the other 5 songs make up for it though if i end up not liking it as much. i'm not sure how to end this off i have typed a lottt more than i thought i would, here is another strawberry gif i hope everybody reading this has a nice day BIG SMILES

i realllyyyy thought i wasn't gonna like this album ... but i do!! maybe it helped going into it with lower expectations but i was in fact very pleasantly surprised. i was a big fan of rock music when it came out but sadly i've learned it does not have much replay value. ss26 is becoming one of my favorites off the album even though i didn't listen to it much during the pre-released singles rollout. i do not like wink wink. sorry #mytruth. the lyrics are important and the music video is very visually appealing, i just don't like how it sounds. like i'm bored guys ... i am an enjoyer of camera however i do understand the criticism that just because you have deep and profound lyrics doesn't mean your song sounds good. lol. i will say twitter needs to get over the discourse about the album cover and the david cronenberg feature his movies are great. also i'm sorry charli can kinda do whatever she wants i would not want to have to please an audience that only started listening to me cause of a tiktok trend (this is not brat shade)

i will say i am glad i did not buy concert tickets despite wanting to see underscores open cause none of this is concert music. again. i'm bored. i am all for charli xcx having an album like this, i am a hugeee fan of the lyrics and everything it means for her i just think an album like this is not very replayable. maybe i have tiktok mindset. oh no. my favorite song is definitely card declined. or 2007. i also liked magic metal montana and i'm afraid. the other two i forgot the names not memorable enough for me to mention. i'm sorry i feel like i'm being really mean here i do love charli xcx and i don't think this is a bad album. that's all

okay as you can tell i have just decided to include eps in the same section as albums. for now. anyways i'm probably not going to write that much cause i'm #hungry and i've only listened to the full ep twice. this is also just going to be me glazing jane remover. i wish her concert in atl wasn't on a sunday and that the most insufferable people i know weren't gonna be there. if jane remover has no more twitter followers i am dead.

as for the songs my favorite is downtown. but i really liked the other two. i think the music on this alt is so soo incredibly beautiful and even though it's heartbreaking and depressing i feel so calm and at peace when i listen to it. i have suchh an issue with letting boys i'm romantically involved with take over every inch of my life and i feel like jane represents (?) this struggle (for a lack of a better term sorry word are hard rn) so well. like we are the same. she gets me. am i just being parasocial who knows. i also love how she announced that this was coming out like literally 2 days before it did. she was not playing around and i do not play about her. peace out ✌️

NEW FLO FAN HERE! (shoutout auri for putting me on) before listening to this album i had only ever heard of carboard box. these girls are insaneeeeely talented not to mention crazy beautiful i feel like i have wasted years of my life that i could have spent listening to them. their voices sound amazingggg on this album i actually cannot get over how well they harmonize together. this has opened a whole new world of possibilities for me they have such a huge discography before this that i need to tune in to immediatelyyy.

i loveee that this album is mostly anti-men. i love women. i think my favorite (despite it always changing) is currently remedied. i just wish it wasn't so short. the mv for this is so cute i'm actually obsessed. this album gets better and better the more i listen to it. wow. nottt a fan of the juicy j verse on pose but i've definitely heard this song somewhere it feels very tiktok audio song they would play in h&m (i don't even mean this in a bad way...). i think their voices on cry ugly sound wonderful together i am so in awe of their vocals. i love the lyrics to this song i #relate. i put it on my running playlist. speaking of #relating, small doses has really grown on me i think this song just sounds really good in general. i can't be high around you anymore was the track that stood out to me the most and i don't usually gravitate to songs that sound like this. maybe it's just the lyrics and their heavenly angelic voices (holy glaze i need to calm down) but it's certainly gonna remain in the top #3 from this album for me. i think haterbooth is a great way to end the album it's so cute and fun. speaking of cute and fun this whole album concept (the title, visuals) i am a hugeee fan of i actually haven't been this excited about a release in a while. i would consider flo mainstream but they should have a lot more flowers in their basket than they do. i could keep writing on and on but i have to go hate on nate sib now. peace out

this album sucks. i hate it. and i'm so mad about it. idk if it's cause he's not friends with 2hollis anymore but holy shit. what happened. his last ep was soooo good. like arguably better than star. he literally just tweeted today that he has never claimed to be the next jb but unfortunately that's what it's giving. i don't understand the sudden switch to music that appeals to christians who are posing as alternative. like genuinely. and it's so odd because the music itself is good. like it sounds good. his voice sounds great even. but the lyrics. just terrible. beyond terrible. horrendous. dare i say i would rather listen to no me importa. who is the target audience for this. certainly not boylife fans. they're not going to church on sunday. i don't get it...

okay i'm getting very heated i probably need to eat something and my rant will be over soon i'm just soo upset cause there was insane potential for this to be THE back to school album. plus i'm going to see him in atlanta in october let's just pray he plays his old music. for example. face card SOUNDS like a good song. but the lyrics are so unbelievably corny it's almost unlistenable. almost. how are you going to make a song like tonight then have child of god on your most recent album. who's jesus loving pants are you trying to get into. all i needed and sexiest are the most tolerable. but this album has no repeat value for me.

okay for context i am 2 beers deep at my on campus bar (i know). i have a lot to say about this album. we have a love hate relationship. for the sake of separating the art from the artist i am going to ignore the drama (is it even drama ?) surrounding adéla and manon (i'm team #manon though). anyways i can't tell if this album is buns or a masterpiece. let me elaborate. we will go song by song.

firstly. kgb. not that good. like yes it's a fun song but i think the biggest problem i have with this album is that people act like adéla is the first and only girl to make pop music like this. i am simply not that gagged because music that sounds like this has existed foreverrr you all just choose to ignore it until it comes from someone who fits your image of the ideal pop star. i feel the same way about fantasize and starving artist. moving on. some compliments! nicole kidman is SO GOOD. something creative and new and i absolutely think the music video is perfect twitter needs to leave women alone ! boys is very fun very cute i realllyyy am a fan of the talking (? is that what you call it ? adlibs ?) in the background i think it adds to the song a lot. i'm the man is probably in my top 3 i am an enjoyer of the lyrics and again...twitter needs to leave women alone ! i like red bottoms. i do not like hitachi. i'm not really a fan of slower songs in general though. marijuana would probably be my favorite if it wasn't so short. big fan of the intro especially. i understand the lyrics of therapy are very vulnerable but i just do not think it fits with the rest of the album at alllll. ninajirachi released sing good and now everyone's suddenly insecure. and finally not to be that one friend who's too woke but i completely agree with the criticism behind ain't in la. i AIN'T a fan of this song😂😂😂 to conclude i do think adéla is going to have a bigger career than katseye and this was a mostly positive debut (i see people calling it this but i swear she has another album) people on twitter just need to stop acting like she pioneered this sound

okay i actually thought this album was the best thing to ever happen to me and then i talked to my friend who's really into music and i feel less strongly about it now. i agree it is a veryyyy good pop album but best of the year ? idk about all that. it's mostly just her talking about how much a flop she is. WHICHHH i do agree tinashe deserves soooooo much more attention i still do not really get why all of gay twitter hasn't jumped on her. hopefully she'll get her flowers now. anyways...into the songs
we all know i think melatonin is the best thing to ever happen to my ears. HOWEVER it is very disappointing that this is the best song off the album by farrr and it is a pre-release. cloud 9 is 2nd for me i loveeee the beat (?) and her YEAHHHHs it's so fun and feel good. i like most of the pre releases actually. too easy, i'd rather be alone (special emphasis on this one), and crash out (again, i really resonate with the lyrics here). after listening to the album a few more times i do agree a lot of the songs are mediocre. i feel this way about pillow fight (which i originally really liked) and nobody wanna dance anymore (which i do completely agree with the lyrics of!). flashbacks is soooo good i actually think the way it's organized (composed ?) is genius. i will give her praise where it's due. same with twentyfive eight. i like the wau popstar sounds and the lyrics but i have nothing extraordinary to say about it. i do not like brainrot. at all. i liked sunglasses but after talking to my friend i'm realizing it sounds kinda weird. or maybe i'm letting other people's opinions get too in the way of my own. i don't really like ballads but empty stadium and heavy weight are okay by my standards. i understand she's being very vulnerable i don't want to sound like i am discrediting that. i wish overdramatic was an actual song it makes me laugh (in a good way!). that's all i have to say okay thank you for reading (ik nobody cares...)

wow it was so hard to find a high quality image of this album ig the internet is scared of boobs. i had to screenshot it from his merch site ... n e ways i honestly don't have much to say about this album but i feel like i don't talk about mainstream pop enough. i once again talked to my friend who is really into music and i think she brought up a fair point of "i miss the old troye sivan" and i know people hateeee when you say that about artists cause duh your music is gonna change as you evolve as a person. but i agree! blue neighborhood and bloom are suchh wonderful albums. even rush was great. but with something to give each other you can kinda see him grow into ... pop music that EYE am not personally as into. this isn't really shade though like obviously if troye is happy with the art he is making then who cares! i just don't have to be a fan of it.

into the songs i'm not going to talk about them all butttt she's the best has really grown on me. i kinda of agreed with twitter at first like gay guy talks about how much he admires women we get ittt. but no. i think he's being very genuine and vulnerable in this song. yes i see the charli xcx effect with him talking instead of singing but idrc it works for a song like this. i loveeeeee the party mv twitter once again needs to learn to have fun. it's on my running playlist which is how you know i really like it. i think my favorites off this album (besides party...) are cowboy and troye meets world. cowboy makes me really sad but i like songs that do that it makes me really appreciate life. also troye meets world is such a cute title for a song that's about what the song is about #ykwim. i loveeee the lily-rose depp feature in french to end the album i think it just makes so much sense for this project (girl who has never made music referring to albums as projects). i relate to the lyrics of embarrassingly and love so big it hurts a lottt. side note i can't wait to see the heated rivalry edits that will be made with canada dry. i think he knew what he was doing with this. okay ik i usually go more in depth but i just don't feel like it rn #sawry okay that's all folks thank you for coming to my tedtalk (nobody is reading this!!)
